My Cauliflower Crust Pizza

I had tons of people messaging me and commenting on my picture asking for the recipe of my Cauliflower Crust Pizza. So I though I would write it all down in a blog for you!

Here is the recipe I used for the crust, It was super easy to use. Cauliflower Crust Recipe

Now for the toppings this is what I did.
  1. After the crust baked I spread on a green Pesto sauce from Aldi, but you can get it from any store of make it homemade. I also sprinkle a little grated parmesan cheese over it.
  2. I browned some ground beef with Italian Seasoning, Garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. I spread the ground beef on top.
  4. I also has some spinach which I sautéed in a pan. I spread that over the top. The amount of spinach can be whatever you want. I did about 2 cups uncooked.
  5. I sprinkled the whole pizza with mozzarella cheese and baked for about 5 minutes.

Fair warning it is super messy. The pizza crust falls apart but it tastes heavenly. It is husband approved!

Release Your Goals to the Universe

Now by the title of this post you must be a little curious what I am talking about. I know it sounds a little woowoo. But seriously if you put your goals out into the world they are more likely to come true. It more likely people will hold you accountable to them and you will be sure to prove the naysayers wrong.

Many times we keep our dreams and goals hidden. We even hide them from ourselves saying I will never be able to do this or I am not good enough to have my dreams come true. We lock them away and throw away the key. Why? Because it is easier to let got of what never could be than to try and fail. But let me tell you this I have NEVER been more happy then when I am chasing after my dreams. Who cares if I fail 99% of the time?!?! Which lots of times I do. But I get right back up and keep pushing towards my goals. The woman I am when I am inspired, passionate, and driven is who the world needs in it. Not the crabby and depressed woman who hates life. Even if you do not reach your goals; you will have made the world a better place for trying.

Think with me of the movie Up. That sweet couple never got to live their dream the way they had pictured it. But they lived life and they dreams and by golly they had a good life. Strive for greatness every day. Run after your dreams and the world will be a better place because of it.

So if I am going to be audacious enough to ask you to put your goals out to the universe then I should be able to as well. So here I go these are my goals for the calendar year:

  • Become 5 Star Diamond
  • Be apart of a Top 10 Team
  • Buy our dream home with an amazing piece of land
  • Go on at least one long vacation and a few mini staycations
  • Build an income bigger than any job I have had before
  • Breastfeed David for over a year
  • Follow God in all that I do
  • Spend more time hanging out with friends
  • Sign up Daniel and I for a fun monthly box subscription
  • Be able to tell my husband you don't have to work over time

Those are my BIG goals for this year. Now I hope you hold me accountable to them. I am so excited to see what this year has to come! Comment below with what your goals are that you need to release into the universe.

My Easy Salsa Recipe

I am always looking for fun ways to get in my fruits and vegetables. I have recently realized that making my own salsa is a great way to get in fruits and a little bit of veggies. It is super yummy. It also takes less than 5 minutes to make so quick and easy.

What do you need:
-A blender
-6 Tomatoes
-1/2 of an onion
-2 jalapenos
-1 teaspoon of Garlic
-1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
-1/2 teaspoon chipolte chili powder
-Salt and pepper to taste

What to do:
Cut the tomatoes into fourth and remove the stems. Cut the onion into fourths. Add everything into the blender. If you have a pulse setting it works best. If not just blend. If you like it chunky you can leave it that way. I like mine smooth so I blend mine for a good while. After it is blended you are all done.

Eat it with your favorite chips. I suggest blue corn chips or multi-grain tortilla chips.

There is No Reason to Worry and Here is Why!

I find that so many times I am engulfed in worry and let stress take over my life. A few years back I suffered from panic attacks. I would be crying, shaking, and captivated by the fear in my mind. I had no control over it until I started praying through them. Prayer was the only thing that calmed me down from those panic attacks. I wish I knew then what I know now. I would have saved myself loads of trouble. You see when you pray the Word of God it has such power. I knew that them but I did not know the Word of God good enough back then. I still do not know the Word of God as good as I should but I try to gain knowledge more and more.

God has made many promises to us in the Bible. Today on a Bible study video I heard that the Bible is full of over 8,000 promises to us from the Lord Jesus Christ. How amazing it that? And from the Word of God we know that He keeps all His promises. So today I wanted to give you a few verses to dwell on and memorize so that when the hard times come you can rest in peace in God's promises to you. Also pay attention to the ones that require action.

Malachi 3:10-11
10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty.
I know I have always been super conservative about tithing. I know I have had times where I have only given my spare change, 10% of my check after taxes, or just given a flat rate of 10% of 40 hours when I know I worked over time. I swear God convicted me of this Today for a reason. I had budgeted roughly 10% of our monthly income after taxes to be tithed. But that is not how God tells us to do it! I also never tithe off of my coaching income. God says what he requires and says he will abundantly bless us if we do it. So let me ask you why aren't we doing it? The answer is the fear of not being provided for.

Psalm 34:4

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.

Look here God also promises to deliver us from all of our fears! That is the answer to our excuse from the previous verse. But if this does not have you convinced I will keep revealing more of God's amazing promises to us.

Psalm 34:10
The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Again this is a promise with an action step. We need to seek the Lord so that we can lack nothing that is good. How easy is that? We just need to start seeking the Lord. Guess what you are doing that now! So good job.

Philippians 4:19
19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
God promises to meet all of our needs. Again this a reason why there is no need to fear. Another one is that this verse says according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. That is infinite!!!

Romans 8:32
32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
God wants to bless us. He wants to graciously give to us. He proves that to us time and time again.

Psalm 119:165
Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.
Today I want to encourage you to love God's law, rest in God's promises, seek the Lord, and tithe generously. God has made so many promises to us and we do not take advantage of them. We simply do our own thing. We never really dig into the word of God. We never seek to learn more. I am not telling you guys that I am perfect by all means. Sometimes I spend weeks without opening the word of God. Yes, I do Bible study books and read scriptures on social media but I don't dive in. But now that I know God's promises and many of those are locked on to the action of seeking Him. I will be actively seeking Him through prayer, reading the Bible, and meditating on his Word.

I hope you will also do the same. It is not just enough to hear the Word of God, we must also act upon it. I am by no means good at this either but I am going to try and I hope you will join me in this.

Positive Affirmations and Why You Need Them

Keeping positivity in your life is so huge for a happy life. One of the practices I love is positive affirmations. I have detailed personal ones that reflect my person goals and dreams. I also have general ones to help crush limiting beliefs. So a personal one would be like this, "I am an amazing mother who breastfeeds, makes healthy choices, is selfless, and loves David unconditionally." I am going to share with you some amazing general ones.

  • I am a beautiful, strong woman who radiates light and love to others.
  • I am successful in all that I do.
  • The Lord has blessings for me daily when I follow His will.
  • I am an amazing, sexy wife who brings joy to her husband.
  • I am wealthy in all areas of my life.
  • I am driven and determined to reach all my goals.
So why are positive affirmations so key to our lives?

The word of the Lord says this:
Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

So I believe that what you say has so much power of how your reality will be. Obviously you have to back it with work, but you need belief with your work to be successful. A great way to start believing in your goals or in yourself is to start verbally expressing it. Say it out loud in from of a mirror!

I know this was a short blog but I hope it encourages you to start using positive affirmations in your life. Trust me it will bless your life.

A Tiny Glimpse into Our Love Story

The best way to start this off is by letting you read our wedding vows. We both truly summed up the magic of our love an relationship into them.

Daniel's Vows: Deborah, I knew from the moment I first saw you that you would be my wife one day. I put a picture of us on my phone. One day a coworker asked who you were. I told him that was my future wife; well look where we are today. Baby I want you to know this: no matter what life throws at us I'm here. I promise you I'll never leave your side. I promise to protect and cherish you. I promise whatever fights we get into or problems we have that we will ask God for guidance. Baby I promise to love you forever and never stop showing you how much you mean to me. P.S. I will love you forever and a day.

My Wedding Vows: I know you realized very early on you wanted to marry me. Instead I focused on building a friendship with you. I know from our first outing that I wanted you to be a life long friend, we just fit and could have fun together at McDonalds and Biglots. Even after we started dating I didn't think it would last. But after a month of two we became the best of friends. I knew that I never wanted  to go through life without you. you were my soul mate, the one who I needed to travel through life with. And then we fell completely in love and after that I knew it was you forever or no one. You can let go of a best friend and you can let go of a lost love but when you find both of those in the same person it is rare. So Daniel I vow to always be your best friend. I vow to have fun with you. I vow to keep God as our focus. I vow to be your forever love. I vow to always see you as handsome. I vow to respect , love, and cherish you. I vow to be your best friend and your love forever and a day.

We were one of those crazy couples that meets online on Instagram with no mutual friends. No idea how it happen, it is impossible statistically. I accidentally tagged him in a comment on my photo without even following him or him following me. I guess you can say it was fate. We later that week after chatting late nights and long phone calls decided to meet. I had not been that nervous and giddy in a long time. For about a month I insisted on us being just friend! But I was also the reason him and his current girlfriend kept being on and off.

Let the record show that I kissed him first. Yes, it was magical and yes there were intense sparks! We fell in love in the oddest ways. I conned him into helping me paint my furniture and clean my room the second time we hung out. Which in retrospect was CRAZY of me because he saw my nasty dirty room. Like he saw the dusk globs that get stuck under your bed.  We fell in love listening to Dustin Lynch in concert. Daniel spent $300 on a "country outfit" from bucket to impress me and I HATED it. But gosh the fact that he wanted to impress me that much made him so sexy despite the clothes.

Our love has been tested time and time again. It has NOT been easy and it has been so hard on both of us. But at the end of the day, when all our fear and failures disappear; all we know is that we love each other more than anyone should be allowed to love someone.

He is my soulmate no matter what he will always have my heart. Our love has been the craziest thing, but I thank God for it! We are so blessed to have each other. Daniel Lynn West I love you forever and a day.

3 Week Yoga Retreat Review

I just recently got my prize for finishing 3 Week Yoga Retreat! I wanted to share with you all about the program and how it blessed my life. I started this program about 6 weeks after I had David. I needed a program that was easy on my body but still made me work. I am not gonna lie some days it  was really hard but over all it was good for my body. It helped me move and heal my muscles.

I gained back a lot of my range of motion with this program. After giving birth I was beyond stiff. I couldn't get off a couch very well because my abs were completely gone. I assume spending about 5 days in bed while in labor and after giving birth to David cause a lot of problems. This gave me healing and strength.

Each week you have a different instructor and you added new moves and advance. On the weekend you have a different instructor as well which makes it fun. I loved how each instructor had different flexibility and they were all crazy bendy. So I still felt good about myself while doing the workout. There was no crazy voodoo/yogi magic or god worshiping in it. So it was 100% fitness and motivation!

If you are looking for a starter program or just one to let your body relax, reboot, and regroup this is the program for you. It is amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it even the painful ones while pushing deep into a stretch. But I am so glad I went on the journey and did it. I plan to do this after each of my upcoming pregnancies!

I am super motivated by gifts and prizes. So with finishing each program I look forward to my prize for submitting my before and after photos. For this program it was seriously a fun gift. I wear it almost everyday. It is a super cute bracelet with the word Breathe on it!
All in all this is an amazing program and I highly recommend it! I would love to help you get started with this! I will post the link below to my Health and Fitness website feel free to reach out to me so we can get you set up in my next accountability group.

Healthy Treats for Valentines Day

I bet you are just as excited as me about Valentines coming up. For one I love pink and red. I love flowers. And I love an excuse to spoil my husband. I also love all the fun treats to eat. Bad part is 95% of those treats are extremely unhealthy. Just look up Valentines day treats on Pinterest. I wanted to help you guys out be giving you some of my healthy treat ideas for Valentines day!

Idea #1

Strawberry Waffles
These are super easy to make. Just make your normal waffles that you love cut up some strawberries and arrange on top. And you are done! Told you it was easy.

Idea #2

Dark Chocolate
You can honestly buy any brand of dark chocolate. The two brands I suggest are Dove and Kisses.

Idea #3

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
You have a couple options here! Got to the local grocery store and buy fresh over priced ones. Order from something like Sherries Berries and still pay a ton. Or you can work at it. Go to the grocery store buy a box of strawberries and the melting chocolate for fruit and go to town! It is much more fun to make them yourself anyway.

Ideas #4

Ruby Red Smoothie
In a blender combine:
Half a cup of Strawberries
One fourth of a cup of Raspberries
One cup of Pineapple juice
1 Tablespoon of Honey
1 Banana
A handful of Ice
Blend all the ingredients together and serve.

Hope you enjoy!

My Maternity Photos

I am so excited to show you the best of my maternity photo shoot! I was so disappointed when I did not get to show them to you when I got them. It was after I had David, due to me being induced. But all is good now and I want to share them with you. Because why take photos and not share them?!?!?!

I know you think I am crazy for posting the last one but my dog Scamp is just too cute! <3 He needs his 20 seconds of fame. I am so happy with how all of these turned out. It made me feel so good in my skin and so happy to pregnant. I love these memories. I miss the kicks and every magical moment. I praise God for blessing Daniel and I with baby David!
