My Experiance With Insantiy Max 30

My experience with Insanity Max 30 was extremely intimidating at first. I was completely stepping out of my comfort zones. I am NOT a cardio girl at all. I have 2 ribcage deformities called Pectus Carinatum and Pectus Excavatum. So my right lung has like an inch less room than my left in my chest cavity. That being said I get out of breath so fast and it hurts as times, so I never pushed myself cardiovascular wise. But I knew if I wanted to get amazing results it was time to get uncomfortable. So I chose Insanity Max 30: all cardio and body weight exercises. It was HIGH intensity. But I fell completely in love with the program.

Insantiy Max 30 is a 8 week program. You have 5 30 minute workouts a week and a few optional workouts. You have 5 workouts for the first 4 weeks that are hard but not extremely complex moves. Then in the second month it is all the same kind of workouts just taken up a level. Each workout has a modifier that is still hard but takes out the high impact moves and jumping. The meal plan is the Fixate container system.

In this program, my transformation came in the form of mental, cardiovascular, and physical strength. I started this program with a history of being a quitter and the desire to be a finisher. I had NEVER successfully finished a fitness program before this! NEVER. I had been a coach for 2 years and was never able to finish one. So this time around I was not going to be the quitter. I was going to be the badass woman who can do anything she sets her mind to. Let me tell you I had such HUGE mental changes during this program, but I will expand on that in a little bit.

I must say as a kid I had NO cardio vascular strength. My mom tells the story of little Deborah running off the soccer field on her first day crying because she HATED running. Needles to say my exercise career was over till I found swimming in high school. I wasn't amazing but for me I was amazing. I pushed myself and beat myself every day. That was the first time I ever saw my cardiovascular strength improve. Then I started Insanity Max 30 and had my butt handed to me every day of the first week. But I attacked the workouts with a passion and soon I was less out of breath and I was maxing out later and later. Then in the last couple of weeks I found myself doing almost all the advanced moves and doing the jumps. It was amazing to see how much I was able to improve in just 8 short weeks. I became the badass woman I wanted to be at the end of this program.

My physical strength was almost gone when I started this. I had just had baby David 2 months earlier. I spend about 4 to 5 days in bed before and after having him and was on bed rest for about 2 weeks before going to the hospital for a 48 hours labor. Needless to say I had NO muscle strength. But I pushed in this program. I started with the modifiers and I maxed out quickly but I tried more and more. I started barely doing push ups to being excited to do them. I was so mad when we did burpees or football fast feet but at the end I was having the time of my life. I even did some tuck jumps and I felt amazing jumping like that. I got my ab strength back and build my other muscles back to normal. Every day life became easier. David was not so heavy to carry even though he got heavier and heavier.

I told you I would explain more about my mental change. So I had what I call a life change during this program. One of the ladies said this, "When I can't do 1 more, I do 3!" And it just stuck to me!!! First off it encouraged me not to be a quitter but I had the aha moment that I can do so much more than I thought I could. So I applied it in the workout and half the time I didn't even need a break once I pushed past 3 more moves. I then applied it in my life and business. I started becoming unstoppable. I was working crazy hours and getting little sleep but I loved it. I was passionate about life, I did not want to go to bed because I felt so encouraged and strong. I wanted to pursue my dreams will ALL my heart and when it got hard I did 3 more and pressed on. Shaun T's programs are always full of life lessons.

Now I am sure you are ready to see my results and hear about them. I will be honest I lost no weight. I think I gained half a pound. But the pictures speak for themselves I lost a ton of weight and gained even more muscle. I felt amazing after this program; so strong, so healthy, and all around fabulous.




Isn't that crazy!?!?! I felt so fat and so blahh when I started. I had never been that big. I just was miserable in my body and did not recognize myself. Now I feel amazing. I feel strong. Where I Find Guidance in my Walk With the Lord

Proverbs 11:14 Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.
Over the years I have listened to many Biblical teachers, pastors, and speakers; looking for someone who I can hear the voice of God through. I know first of that I need to be in the Word daily and hearing from the Lord directly. But I also know that sometimes we as humans can be led astray and we need to be in the counsel of wise people. So where do I get that from on a day to day basis. I am a busy mom and so having those people on social media or in a book are super easy ways for me to learn and grow in the counsel of others so to speak.

I am going to give you my list of ladies as well as what their niche is and where I listen to/read what they have to say. I give this to you in hope that you will listen to these ladies along with digging into God's word. And know that these women are not perfect but they are some of the best I have found.

  • Lisa Bevere: She is an amazing woman married to John Bevere and mother to boys. She is open and honest with all areas of her laugh and will make you laugh. She speaks truth though. She will call you out where you are and tell you your sins. She speaks of the second coming and how we need to be ready. Search her on YouTube and find some amazing messages from her. She also has books you can read such as Lioness Arising. You can also see her live.
  • Priscilla Shirer: She is a wonderful woman. She is a young mother of 2 boys. She lives in Dallas, TX. She is practical but also speaks 100% truth. She is 100% relatable and show you the ways of the Lord. Search her on YouTube and you will find many of her teachings. She also has books, Bible studies, and you can see her live.
  • Beth Moore: I am sure you have heard of her but no matter how well know she is she is still amazing. She is practical and powerful. She will explain it in just the way we as women need to hear it. She uses tons of stories and is 100% relatable. You can search her on YouTube, buy her books, and see her live.
  • Kasey Van Norman: She is not well known yet. She is mom and married to a cowboy. She is 100% raw and open about her past and her mistakes. She is knows she is a sinner and that she struggles every day but she will show you the most the truths of the Lord that we need to hear. She will make you cry and feel God's love all over again. You can buy her books, Bible studies, and you can see her speak on Right Now Media.
  • Allyson Rowe: She is know as Miss Washington USA. She is single. She is an amazing woman and has been called to speak to women. If you are a single Christian woman you need to be listening to her. If you are not single but are a mom or plan to be one you need to listen to her. She is so practical in teaching on how to act and view dating and singleness in todays world through God's eyes. You need to follow her on Facebook to see her videos.   • Faith Filled Females: This is a group on Facebook filled with amazing women who are passionate about following the Lord. It is a private group so you will need to request to join. But it is so helpful. It is a place to ask questions, help others, and be surrounded by Godly women.

I know that finding ways to learn good solid things about the Lord has been hard for me. I never got good teaching in a Sunday School or Small Group setting. So for me I went towards social media to get that teaching from. This is what I have found.

Why do I Make it a Priority to Learn?

I pride myself in the fact that I try and watch educational YouTube videos and read books everyday. I love learning and I always have. But in all honesty it would be so easy for me to give into trashy magazines, gossipy TV, and shopping YouTube videos all day. Those provide nothing of value to my day. I want to educate myself and always grow.

One thing I have learned is when you stop growing as a person things around you stop as well. Your friendships, romantic relationships, paycheck, and quality of life are reflecting how much you water your life. Learning is a great way to do that is provides amazing growth. I learn about finances, fitness, nutrition, crafting, business, and so much more.

The wealthy do it, so I will too. In a study it was found that 85% of wealthy people read 2+ personal development books a month compared to 15% of the poor. Mark Cuban read 3 hours a day!!! We all know Oprah Reads. Dave Ramsey suggests reading at least 20 minutes a day. People there is a reason behind this.

It feeds my soul. I love reading. I love growing. I get so sick and tired of gossip and negativity. Yes, I love gossip like any one else but only in little bits. I need to pour into myself to keep my spirits up! I need to put tons of positive thoughts into my head to beat all the negative ones.

I want you to read! Pick up a book today and read it! Watch a video on YouTube and learn. Grow each and everyday and continue to be the best you, you can be.

Abs are Made in the Kitchen Ladies, so You NEED to Crush your Meal Plan

I know we all know how important what we eat is. We all know you can't eat doughnuts, cake, and ice cream all day and have abs and a nice booty. But how do we stay successful on a meal plan. Dieting is hard and not fun at all. It leaves you feeling deprived, depressed, and having all kinds of cravings. In my opinion dieting does not work. What you eat and don't eat needs to be part of your lifestyle. So to successfully transform how you eat you need a lifestyle change or at least I did.

My lifestyle change came in the form of the Fixate Meal Plan. I got these color coded portion controlled containers in the mail with a book and I also ordered the Fixate cook book for more help. I learned and read about it all. I honestly thought it was the stupidest thing ever. But I did it because at the time my IBS flare ups were happening left and right and I needed a change. So I tried it. It was hard and challenging and I have to admit I have never been able to successfully not cheat once on the meal plan for more than a week. But I look at food so differently. I don't see grains as a staple for all meals like I grew up thinking. I mean as a kid and teenager grains were about half of your plate right? I mean don't tell me I am the only one who ate spaghetti with breadsticks, mac'n'cheese with hotdogs and buns, or just waffles for breakfast. I had to drastically change how a see my plate.

Now I get it. I understand that my goal is to eat as many fruits and veggies in a day as I can. Why? Because it is hard for me to eat a lot of that. So if I focus on it I will eat less of the foods I want and eat more of what I need. The containers changed my life. I swear by them.
